For new enrollment, please call: (480) 474-6800, or (480) 474-6801. During the spring semester, registration process we gave all students a registration form and were informed that according to space availability, the classes selected would be the classes assigned to them for the coming year. We have made every attempt to honor student schedule requests; however, due to the growing enrollment on our campus, it is possible that we had to assign an alternative course to student schedules. Back to School Days: Our “Back to School Days” process will begin on August 2 through August 5. We will hand out student schedules at this time. Please familiarize yourself with the necessary forms that students will need to return and for those tasks that must be finished before school officially begins on August 9, 2010. Please pay special attention to the documents that request updates regarding demographics (address, phone number, and e-mail changes) and emergency card resubmission. Also, note that we cannot authorize the school nurse to treat a student unless you submit a new emergency card to the Health Office. We have enclosed a step-by-step “Back to School Days” information sheet. All forms will be available at Back to School Days, and students must return to STFHS on the designated dates. We ask that students bring their schedule to our Open House on Thursday, August 5, 2010, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Please refer to your packet for information regarding class schedule changes. First Day of School: All students must pick up an official green schedule in the courtyard on August 9, 2010 (first day of classes). This green schedule will be their ticket into class for the first day of school. Students may pick up their schedules beginning at 7:00 a.m. In accordance with state regulations, students must be here on the first day of school or we may drop them from classes. I encourage you to thoroughly read all of the information in the Back to School Days packet. This information will be helpful to you throughout the school year. We will be anxiously awaiting our students. Enjoy what remains of the summer, as we will see you very soon. If you should have any further questions, please feel free to contact the school's office, your child's teacher, a counselor, or the administration at (480) 474-6800. Yours in Education,
Mr. Ben Rodriguez, Principal |
